The Bengali festive season is never complete for the Realtech family without their Real Pujo Parikrama. Adding on new members every year, the Realtech family is growing in leaps and bounds while they come up with new and fresh ideas and make an effort to bring smiles on the faces of our loved seniors by bringing back childhood memories of ‘dhunuchi’ dance and ‘dhakis’ performances’ while pandal-hopping with them.
On Maha Panchami, like every year, the Realtech family had gathered at Amherst Street Police Station for the flag off ceremony followed by the Parikrama. A whole day of fun and frolic and Devi Darshan with Baul singers performing throughout in keeping with the roots of our culture. Some eminent personalities who joined the event are Mr Soumya Bakshi, Mrs Smita Bakshi (MLA) and Mr Sanjay Baskshi (Ex MLA), Mr Snehashish Chakraborty (MLS, Hoogly), Mr Sadhan Pandey (Minister for Consumer Affairs & Self-help Group & Self-employment, Govt. of West Bengal). Also those who had been a part of the event are Mr. Debasish Sarkar (DC North), Debobroto Sarkar (ACP), Kaushik Das (OC, Amherst Street PS), Sk.Habib (Chairperson of Minority Forum), Mr Jiban Saha (Chairman Borough 7, Councillor Ward 57), Mr Vishal Saha (MD, Kasturi Restaurant) and many more whose constant support and participation encouraged and livened up the event.
The ‘Realtech Nirman Pujo Parikrama’ has engaged nearly 9000 senior citizens in the last 9 years. All necessities are taken care of including their medical needs during the event. All Realtech employees ensure their safety very affectionately guiding them by walking hand in hand in the crowd. The seniors are handed caps and water bottles to beat the heat while walking to the pandals as they step out of the AC Volvo buses. Led by Sk Nasir and Mr Shishir Gupta, the founders and Directors of Realtech Nirman Pvt Ltd, the Sharodiya Utsav gets bigger each year with the team actively participating in the festivities organized for the seniors.
